Workplace Trends Spring Summit - Office Visits Announced

Thursday 18 February, 2016

Following the success of October’s office visits programme, we are delighted to offer Spring Summit delegates the opportunity to visit three more very different and innovative workplaces in central London. You’ll find out about the thinking behind the design and hear from those managing and using the new spaces.

Places are available for Workplace Trends Spring Summit delegates only, are strictly limited, and on a first-come-first-served basis, so do book your space early.

Alphabeta - adaptable space for a creative workforce

At the intersection of Silicon Roundabout, Shoreditch and the City, Alphabeta is at the heart of a location that is rapidly becoming recognised as the centre for creative and commercial innovation in London. Tenants include social media and marketing agency We Are Social and co-working specialists Huckletree.

The historic building was extensively refurbished by Studio RHE. Glazed occupier meeting rooms that cantilever out into the nine storey central atrium offer privacy without a sense of isolation from the building’s community. At lobby level, a network of meeting places, creates opportunities for chance encounters and informal meetings.

Sea Containers – riverside landmark

The landmark Sea Containers building on the River Thames has been re-engineered to provide several floors of high quality office space for marketing and communications giant Ogilvy & Mather and media agency MEC, wrapped around a new luxury hotel.

The Ogilvy Group is relocating from two London offices into around 200,000 sq ft of new space designed by BDG with an emphasis on collaboration and a range of work-settings.

Hammerson – retail property showcase

Leading retail property developer, Hammerson PLC, relocated its UK headquarters to Kings Place in London’s King’s Cross. EDGE’s design provides a home for all its stakeholders to live and breathe its commitment to delivering world class retail destinations.

The workplace is configured to maximise collaboration and agile working; to involve everyone in its retail focussed mission.
